Tony L. Grimes

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, May 14, 2011 in the Chapel of Striffler-Hamby Mortuary, 4071 Macon Road, Columbus, Ga. 31907. The family will receive friends this evening from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.

Tony was born in Columbus, GA. on August 17, 1968 . He has lived in Columbus for most of his life was a 1986 graduate of Jordan High School. Tony was currently employed by TSYS as a Technical Director.

Survivors include his wife, Carman S. Grimes, children, Dakota K. Grimes and Zachary K. Grimes all of Midland, GA. his parents, Derrell E. Grimes and wife Sheree of Columbus and Patsy Harp McGregor and husband Lee of Augusta, GA. a sister, Iris Morris and husband Joe of Sylva, NC, grandmother, Doris Harp of Phenix City, AL. several aunts and uncles to include, Mary Efurd of Phenix City, AL, William Harp and Johnny Harp both of Phenix City, AL. Jerry and Shelia Grimes of Perry, GA., Jerry and Brenda Dugard of Columbus and Kenneth and Wanda Grimes of Columbus, nieces, Baylee Morris and Kimberlin Moore, a nephew A.J. Morris and numerous cousins.
