Wanda Jarrell Harding

Her funeral service will be held on Saturday, January 20, 2018 at 2:00 pm and a visitation will be held one hour prior to services at Striffler-Hamby Mortuary, Columbus.

Wanda was born in Columbus, Georgia on November 15, 1948. She is the daughter of Jimmie Lee Jarrell and Opal Christine Patrick Jarrell. She was raised here in Columbus and graduated from Jordan High School in 1966.

She was a former employee of the State of Georgia, working at both the West Central Georgia Regional Hospital and the Health Department in Columbus. Wanda was kind, loving and welcoming person. She volunteered at the Ronald McDonald House and enjoyed serving at Second Baptist Church, where she is a member. Wanda never met a stranger; engaging easily in conversation and making all feel welcome.

Wanda is preceded in death by her Father and Mother and a son Todd Michael Harding. Survivors include; her daughter Renee’ Harding; a granddaughter Gina Blackhurst; a brother Wayne (Mary) Cobb and several nieces and a nephew.
