Sonny graduated from St. Anne Pacelli High School in 1976. He attended Columbus College (now Columbus State University) and became a manager for McCrory Corporation and then became an over the road truck driver for Wiley Sanders and other employers. He enjoyed spending his time playing video games as well as listening to Rock Music (70’s hard) and had an interest in classic cars.
He is preceded in death by his parents, William Henry Lee IV and Marian Claire Lee. He is survived by his sister, Suzanne Claire Lee Jones (Michael); his brother, Philip Michael Lee (Glenda); and his nephews, Thomas Matthew Jones and William Tyler Lee.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Thursday, February 5, 2026 at 11:00 AM at Riverdale Cemetery Pavilion, 1000 Victory Dr, Columbus, GA 31901.
