William “Willy” Patterson, 59, of Cusseta, GA passed away February 5. 2023 at St Francis Hospital in Columbus, GA. A Memorial to Celebrate Willy’s life will be Wednesday, February 8, 2023 at Hilton Terrace Baptist Church 2236 Warm Springs Rd Columbus Ga officiated by his close friend Rev. Mark Blaxton at 4:00 PM.
Willy was born at Martin Army Hospital Fort Benning, GA to Richard Patterson and Mary Elizabeth Cribb and grew up in the Columbus area. He was always smiling and never met a stranger. Happy and quick with a joke. He loved to fish, watch the Dawgs and had a devoted passion for the Atlanta Falcons. But most of all he loved his family. William led a full life and was loved by many. He taught his children to work hard and be proud of their successes’. Willy was the Pizza Chef and Manager of Deorios Pizza for 36 years (in Cross Country Plaza). He will always be remembered for his laughing and joking and the great pizzas he made.
Willy is survived by his loving Wife Terry Patterson; Children; Jessica(Randall) Patterson, Candice (Natalie) Wenner, Todd (Lauren) Patterson; Grandchildren; Gabe Henderson, Logahn Henderson, Blaxton Patterson, Terryn Patterson, Hudson Wenner. Siblings; Becky Buckley, Susan Standford, Mary King, Kaylene Griffis, Jason Patterson and Patrick Patterson; Numerous nieces and nephews, and friends.
He is preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Timothy, Richard, and Mitchell Patterson. And son in law Jarid Henderson.
