Funeral services will be held at 10:00 am, on Monday, October 19, 2015 in Edgewood Hall of Striffler-Hamby, 4071 Macon Road Columbus, GA, with Reverends Eugene Wise and Mark Tipton officiating. Interment will follow in Parkhill Cemetery.
Visitation for Mr. Wiggins will be from 2-4 pm, on Sunday, October 18, 2015, at the funeral home.
William Mabry Wiggins was born on September 13, 1920, in Dothan, Alabama, to the late Jasper and Viola Wiggins. In addition to his parents, Mr. Wiggins was preceded in death by his first wife Mary Wiggins, two sons, James Wiggins and Dr. Mark Wiggins, 6 brothers, 2 sisters. Mr. Wiggins served his country in the United States Army, retiring as SSGT and also retired as a Civil Serviceman from Fort Benning. He was a member of the Harvest Pointe Church of the Nazarene.
Survivors include his wife, Ann Wiggins, of Murphy, North Carolina, one granddaughter, Rebecca Wiggins, and Daughter-in-law, Angela Wiggins, both from Highland, North Carolina.
