Willie Curtis “W. C.” Bledsoe, 90, of Columbus, Georgia passed away on January 12, 2025. He was born on August 27, 2934 to the late Edna Levens Bledsoe and Leon Gordon Bledsoe. W.C. married Elvie Evans and together they called Columbus, Georgia home. W.C. worked for many years in civil service at Fort Benning as an accountant. He retired at the early age of 50. W.C. was Christian by faith and was a faithful member of Edgewood Baptist Church since 1958. W.C. was a Mason at Masonic Lodge 747 F&AM where he was a member for many years.
W.C. is survived by his loving wife, Elvie Evans Bledsoe; his son, Mike Bledsoe and wife, Jo; his grandson, Brockton Bledsoe; granddaughter, Cheyenne Smith; and his great grandson, Isaiha Smith. W.C. was preceded in death by his parents, Edna and Leon Bledsoe and his son, Randy Bledsoe.
A memorial service will be held at a later date according to Striffler-Hamby Mortuary of Columbus, Georgia.
