Betsy A. Jacobs Blair

Ms. Blair was born in Columbus, IN. on December 27, 1946 the daughter of the late Russell and Betty J. Thomas Jacobs.

Ms. Blair retired from Cummins Engine Company in Columbus, IN. and she was a homemaker and a former beautician.

She was a member of the American Legion Auxiliary and she enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren, the outdoors, fishing and traveling.

The funeral service celebrating the life of Ms. Blair will be conducted at 10:00 A.M. Monday, August 16, 2010 at the Myers-Reed Chapel at 3729-25th St., Columbus, IN. 47203 with the Rev. John Sichting officiating.

Calling hours will be from 1:00 P.M. until 5:00 P.M. on Sunday, August 15, 2010 and from 9:00 A.M. until the time of the service on Monday.

Burial will be in the Garland Brook Cemetery in Columbus, IN.

Ms. Blair is survived by her fiancé, Rick Nowling of Scipio, IN.; two daughters, Kimberly (Jesse) Hamler of Cookeville, TN. and Melissa (Nathan) Ridgeway of Kokomo, IN.; a son, Troy (Katherine) Blair of Edinburgh, IN.; seven grandchildren, Joshua and Sydney East of Cookeville, TN., Ethan Blair of Indianapolis, IN. and Noah, Samuel, Zackary and Madeline Ridgeway all of Kokomo, IN.; and three brothers, Tom, Dennis and Rick (Mary Ann) Jacobs all of FL.
