Carl Butch E Pavey

Mr. Pavey was born May 03, 1946 in Indianapolis, IN. the son of the late Marion Mack and Catherine Virginia Fish Pavey.

He was a United States Navy Veteran and a retired maintenance man.

Mr. Pavey was a member of the Winding Waters Bass Club and he enjoyed fishing, woodworking and radio controlled airplanes.

A memorial service celebrating Mr. Pavey’s life will be conducted at 3:00 PM on Saturday, January 08, 2012 at Hope Community Church of God on South St. in Hope, IN. with Rev. Gerald Hancock officiating.

Military rites will be conducted by members of the Bartholomew County Veterans Color Guard.

Visitation will be from 1:00 PM until the time of the service on Saturday at the church.

Memorial contributions may be made to Hope Community Church of God or Hospice of South Central Indiana.

Funeral arrangements were entrusted to Myers-Reed Chapel.

Mr. Pavey is survived by his long time companion, June McMillan of Columbus, IN.; a daughter, Michelle (John) Gilmartin of Barrhead, Scotland; a son, Scott Pavey of Barrhead, Scotland; two step-daughters, Barbara West of Columbus, IN. and Margie Crouch of Hope, IN.; three sisters, Sharon (Dennis) King of Athens, TN., Phyllis Beller Pavey and Sherry Burch both of Columbus, IN.; a brother, Steve (Cathy) Pavey of Columbus, IN.; four grandchildren, twins, Josh and Sophie Gilmartin of Barrhead, Scotland, Christopher West of Columbus, IN. and Jimmie Branum of Shelbyville, IN.; four great grandchildren and six nieces and nephews.
