Debra Ann Briner, born on December 4, 1961, in Indianapolis, Indiana, passed away on December 10, 2025, at the age of 64. Debbie was a resident of Columbus, Indiana, and was known for being adventurous and kind-hearted.
Debbie's career included working at Irwin Union Bank until its closure, after which she continued her professional journey at CENTRA. She also worked at the Hampton Inn for 20 years and was a former Mary Kay representative. Her work was marked by dedication and a commitment to excellence.
Outside of her professional life, Debbie enjoyed scrapbooking, traveling, and spending time with animals. She cherished her friendships deeply and was particularly fond of meeting with her "pizza group," where laughter and companionship were always present. Whenever possible, she would join her husband and soul-mate, Michael, on photography expeditions. Although photography is not a generally competitive sport, whenever she got that one perfect shot, everyone, and including Mike, would hear about it.
Debra is survived by her husband of 26 years, Michael Briner, of Columbus, Indiana. She is also survived by her parents, Gene and Dorothy Culver, of Bengal, Indiana; and her brothers, Rick Culver (Paula) of Greenfield, Indiana, and Jerry Culver of Brown County, Indiana. Also surviving are several cousins.
Debra was preceded in death by her nephew, Benjamin Culver, and her sister-in-law, Jacqui Culver.
Debbie will be remembered fondly by all who knew her, leaving behind a legacy of warmth, kindness, and adventure.
