

Mrs. Stutz was a homemaker and in earlier years worked for Arvin Industries and JCPenney. She was a member of First United Methodist Church, Columbus American Legion Auxiliary and Mill Race Center, where she served as chairman of several committees.
She loved to travel and dance, including square dancing and ballroom dancing, and also enjoyed reading and playing cards.
Funeral services will be conducted at 1 p.m. Friday at Myers-Reed Chapel on 25th Street with the Rev. Gary Schaar officiating. Calling will be from 11 a.m. until service time Friday. Burial will be at Garland Brook Cemetery.
Memorial contributions may be made to Mill Race Center.
Born in Plymouth Jan. 24, 1915, Mrs. Stutz was the daughter of Frank and Lulu Clampitt Cox. She married George O. Stutz Jan. 24, 1937, in Columbus. He preceded her in death Sept. 27, 1984.
Mrs. Stutz is survived by a daughter, Phyllis (George) Darnell of Hope; a son, Larry (Donna) Stutz of Columbus; a half sister, Mary Ellen Morden of Little Rock, Ark.; grandchildren, Pam Darnell of Hope, Jeff (Karen) Darnell of Hope and Michael (Sandy) Stutz of Fort Wayne; five great-grandchildren; four stepgreat-grandchildren; one great-great-granddaughter; and one stepgreat-great-grandson.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; a half brother, Frank Cox; and a sister, Vera Smith.
