Francis Allen Moore

Mr. Moore was born February 05, 1937 in Brown County, IN. the son of the late Feryle and Dorothy Hearne Moore.

He married Betty L. Garrison July 04, 1959 in Columbus, IN. and she survives.

Mr. Moore was a United States Air Force Veteran of the Korean War.

He retired in 1999 as a machinist at Reliance Electric. He was also a contractor and built homes with his brothers prior to beginning his career with Reliance Electric.

Mr. Moore enjoyed gardening and planting pecan and black walnut trees. He was also an inventor of many things.

A memorial service will be conducted at 2:00 pm Saturday, September 12, 2015 at Wesley Chapel in Jewell Village with Sarah Bartlett presiding.

Memorial contributions may be made to Our Hospice of South Central Indiana.

With his wife of 56 years, Mr. Moore is also survived by two sons, Allen Moore of Columbus, IN. and William H. Moore of Hope, IN.; two daughters, Becky Moore of Columbus, IN. and Peggy Moore of Hope, IN.; a brother, Richard Moore of Columbus, IN. and several nieces and nephews.

Along with his parents, Mr. Moore was also preceded in death by his son, David Lee Moore in 1961; two brothers, Robert and William Moore; and three sisters, Nona Fields, Lois Stevens and Helen Fields.
