Mrs. Thompson retired after 21 years with Sap’s Bakery Retail Store.

Private family funeral service will be conducted Thursday at Myers-Reed Chapel on 25th Street. Rev Allery Webb officiating. Burial will be at Garland Brook Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association or Thrive Alliance through the United Way.

Born July 2, 1932 in Bell County, Kentucky Mrs. Thompson was the daughter of William Murphy and Arizona Daniels Webb. She married Fred Thompson Oct. 4, 1952. He preceded her in death Aug. 12, 1984.

She is survived by daughters, Elaine (Max) Baute of Hartsville, Cheryl (Terry) Parker of Columbus and Patricia (Kevin) Johnson of Friendswood, TX; a son, Veron (Karen) Thompson of Columbus; brothers, Allery (Ann) Webb and Larry (Elaine) Webb, both of Ohio; grandchildren, Chelsey, Nicholas and Derek Parker, Daniel (Valerie) Baute, Katie Baute, Paul Thompson, Rebecca (Dustin) Cavener, Jacob, Matthew and Sarah Johnson and Nicolette (Mark) Hamilton; 7 great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband and ten brothers and sisters.
