Helen L. Stadtmiller, 72, of Hiker Trace, died at 7:35 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 10, 2011, at Kindred Transitional Care & Rehabilitation of Columbus.

Mrs. Stadtmiller was a homemaker and enjoyed playing euchre and bowling.

Funeral services will be conducted at 1 p.m. Friday at Myers-Reed Chapel on 25th Street with Deacon Bill Jones officiating. Calling will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Thursday and one hour prior to the service on Friday. Burial will be at Garland Brook Cemetery.

Born in Glasgow, Barron County, Ky., July 25, 1939, Mrs. Stadtmiller was the daughter of Willie E. and Georgia Etta Alexander Coop. She married Fred Stadtmiller Aug. 10, 1957, in Columbus.

Survivors include her husband; sons, Timothy Stadtmiller, Michael Stadtmiller and Daniel Stadtmiller, all of Columbus; a brother, Thomas R. (Maryann) Coop of Columbus; grandchildren, Kara L. Stadtmiller, Ashleigh M. Tillett, Kaley (Matt) Stoner, Joshua Stadtmiller, Tyler Stadtmiller, Jacob Stadtmiller, Raven Stadtmiller, Jared Stadtmiller and Brendan Stadtmiller, all of Columbus; and three great-grandchildren

She was preceded in death by her parents.
