Jason David Zurbrugg, 39, of Los Alamos, NM, formerly of Columbus, passed unexpectedly on May 29, 2018.
Jason was a graduate of Columbus East High School. He enjoyed horticulture and was a landscaper. He also loved fishing.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Diane Zurbrugg; and an infant son.
Survivors include his loving father and step-mother, David and Pam Zurbrugg of Columbus; wife, Beckie Zurbrugg of Los Alamos, NM; sons, Gage and Dalton Zurbrugg of Los Alamos; step-daughters, Brianne Johnston, Alyssa Johnston and Sarai Johnston, all of Los Alamos, NM; sisters, Amanda (Andrew) Hull of Columbus and Kimberly Watts and fiancé, Craig Tower, of Columbus; and step-sisters Christal (Ben) Downing of Columbus and Angela (Jesus) Malagon of Columbus. Also surviving are several aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.
A Celebration of Life will be held from 1 -5 p.m. Tuesday, June 5, 2018 at Myers-Reed Chapel. Terry Branum will act as celebrant.
His cremated remains will be interred at St. Paul’s Lutheran Cemetery, Columbus.
