Linda C. Meyer

A homemaker, Mrs. Meyer was a member of St. John’s Lutheran Church at White Creek. She was a wonderful mother and extremely loving grandmother and enjoyed time with her family as well as her extended family.

Funeral service will be conducted at 11 a.m. Friday at St. John's Lutheran Church at White Creek, with Pastor Joshua Cook officiating. Calling will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Thursday at Myers-Reed Chapel on 25th Street and from 10 a.m. until service time Friday at the church. Burial will be at the church cemetery.

Mrs. Meyer was born in Seymour Jan. 3, 1949, the daughter of Melvin and Catherine Owens Silence. She married Glen V. Meyer Jan. 16, 1971, in Brownstown.

Also surviving are children, Vickie (Scott) Hildreth of Seymour, Cathy (Shane) Bontrager of Columbus, Bradley (Laura) Meyer of Seymour and Kevin (Katie) Meyer of Columbus; brothers, Larry (Marylou) Silence of Brownstown and Lester (Barbara) Silence of Athens, Alabama; and grandchildren, Caleb, Cameo and Karla Hildreth, Autumn and Paul Bontrager, and one more on the way.

She was preceded in death by her parents.
