Loraine (LeMay) Flynn

Loraine was a homemaker and loved to spend time with her family. She had attended Petersville United Methodist Church.

Funeral services will be conducted at 1:30 p.m. today at Hathaway-Myers Chapel, 1022 Pearl St., with Mrs. Flynn’s son, Jerry Flynn, officiating. Calling will be from 11:30 a.m. until service time. Entombment will be at Garland Brook Cemetery.

Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Bartholomew County or Petersville United Methodist Church.

Born in Danville, Ky., Dec. 31, 1932, Mrs. Flynn was the daughter of Eugene and Mary Kurtz LeMay. She married James “Jim” Flynn at Crittenden, Ky.

Survivors include her husband; a daughter, Karen (Ted) Lucas, Edinburgh; twin sons, James “Jim” (Ronna) Flynn, Greenwood, and Jerry (Carolyn) Flynn, Enid, OK, and a third son, John (Vicki) Flynn, Spring Lake, MI; sisters, Juanita (Junior) Duffield, New Paris, OH, and Carol (Daryl) Richmond, Colorado Springs, CO; seven grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; a brother, Ed LeMay; her stepmother, Mary LeMay; and her stepfather, Harry Smithmeyer.
