

M rs. S p ra g u e worked in the Bart h o l o m ew County Clerk’s Office under Charles Nolting and Frank Runge, and retired from Cummins Engine Company. She was a member of Rocky Ford Free Methodist Church. She enjoyed gardening and collecting Longaberger Baskets and Blue Willow dishes.
A celebration of life service will be conducted at 1 p.m. Friday at Myers-Reed Chapel on 25th Street. Calling will be from 11:30 a.m. until service time Friday.
In keeping with Margaret’s wishes, cremation is planned and inurnment will be at Garland Brook Mausoleum.

Born in Columbus on Oct. 8, 1937, Mrs. Sprague was the daughter of Joseph and Christina Baldwin Bloom. She married Floyd E. Sprague on Sept. 2, 1955, in Columbus. He survives.
Also surviving are daughters, Susan (Phil) Ketring of Edinburgh and Kathy Sprague of Columbus; a son, Mark (Lori) Sprague of Columbus; brothers, Don (Carol) Bloom of Columbus and Dave (Judy) Bloom of Florida; a sister, Louise (David) Lindsey of Columbus; sister-in-law, Vera Bloom of Columbus; grandchildren, Jennifer Roy of Franklin, Ashley Newman, Justin Sprague and Jason Sprague, all of Columbus; and five great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother, Joe Bloom.
