Mary Ann Hahs Williams

Mrs. Williams retired in 1990 after 30 years as a special education teacher with Bartholomew Consolidated School Corporation. She was a member of First Lutheran Church where she served on the Church Council, as chairman of Worship and Music and on the board of Just Friends. She also sang in the church choir.

Funeral services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Tuesday at First Lutheran Church with Pastor Larry Isbell officiating. Calling will be at the church from 9:30 a.m. until service time Tuesday. Private burial will be at Garland Brook Cemetery.

Arrangements were made by Myers-Reed Chapel on 25th Street

Born in Cape Girardeau, Mo., March 15, 1927, Mrs. Williams was the daughter of Guy B. and Lillian Hahs.

She is survived by sons, Mark (Susan) Williams of Batesville, IN, and Matthew Williams of San Mateo, CA; daughters, JoAnn Mainwaring of Honesdale, PA, and Janet (Jerry) Dever of Arnold, MD; and seven grandchildren

She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother, George Hahs.
