Nancy A. Hensley

Nancy A. Hensley, 91, of Columbus passed away Saturday, January 22, 2022, at her home. Nancy was born in Perry County, Kentucky March 1, 1930, the daughter of Jeritt and Vivian Miller Stidham. She married Hubert Hensley June 12, 1948 in Hazard, Kentucky; he preceded her in death November 18, 2015. She was retired after several years at Reliance Electric. She was a member of Shiloh Baptist Church and a former member of The Order of The Eastern Star. She loved to sew, make quilts and cook huge meals for her family. She is survived by children, Thelma Fields of Columbus, Rhoda (Dennis) Huckelberry of Deputy, Glenn (Connie) Hensley of Carrolton, Kentucky and Irene (Gary) Holley of Columbus; grandchildren, Tonya (Chris) Manley of Columbus, Russell (Laura) Hensley of Tennessee, Sharon L. (Todd) Kessler of Taylorsville and Matthew (Kelly) Holley of Columbus; 8 great grandchildren; 3 brothers; 1 sister. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; son in law, Tony Fields; 1 great grandchild. A funeral service will be conducted Wednesday at Noon at Myers~Reed Chapel on 25th Street with Dr. William E. Bailey officiating. Visitation from 10:00 am, to service time Wednesday.
