Oneita E. Bewer Smith

Mrs. Smith was born July 30, 1921 in Bloomingburg, OH., the daughter of the late William and Clarice Pettiford Brewer.

She married Marion D. Smith May 24, 1940 in Carrollton, KY. and he preceded her in death on May 04, 1995.

Mrs. Smith was a homemaker and was an accountant for her husband at Smith Janitorial Service.

She was a member of the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses.

Calling hours will be from 12:30 pm until the time of the memorial service at 2:00 pm Saturday, March 01, 2014 at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses with David Bilton officiating.

Private inurnment will be in Garland Brook Cemetery on Friday, February 28, 2014.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses.

Funeral arrangements were entrusted to Hathaway-Myers Chapel and The Columbus Crematory.

Mrs. Smith is survived by two sons, David L. (Cheryl) and Stephen D. (Karen) Smith both of Columbus, IN.; two daughters, Judith A. Smith of Los Angeles, CA. and Mikki M. (David) Bilton of Phoenix, AZ.; a sister, Theola Hunter of Columbus, IN.; eight grandchildren and four great grandchildren.

Along with her parents and husband of 55 years, Mrs. Smith was also preceded in death by a son, Gary R. Smith, three brothers and four sisters.
