Otto Junior Smith

He was born October 1, 1923 in Indianapolis the son of Otto Barney and Eula Christine Kennedy Smith. He married Dorothy Marie Cooper November 27, 1947 in Indianapolis; she preceded him in death May 5, 1993.

Mr. Smith was retired from Reeves Pulley, where he worked for many years. Following retirement he worked in maintenance at Walmart. He was a member of Elizabethtown Christian Church. He liked Blue Grass and Gospel music, enjoyed baseball, fishing and going to church. He served in the U.S. Army in WWII.

He is survived by daughters, Eula Campbell of Columbus and Carrie (Darrell) Barnes of Seymour; grandchildren, Krystal Barnes, Robert Campbell, Cheryl Campbell, Michael Smith, Brian Watkins, Christina Pelston, Matthew Watkins and Amanda Kelshaw; 9 great grandchildren; 2 great great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents; wife; son, David Otto Smith, 1 sister, 3 brothers.

Funeral service 1:00 p.m. Wednesday Myers~Reed Chapel on 25th Street with Rev. Doran F. Chambers officiating. Calling from 11:00 a.m. to service time.
