

Mr. Bean was born April 24, 1952 in Columbus, IN.
He was a 1970 graduate of Columbus High School and was a United States Marine Corp Veteran.
Mr. Bean owned and operated Ron Bean Trucking.
He enjoyed sponsoring and racing go karts.
Mr. Bean received the American Red Cross 2009 Hall of Fame “A Tribute to Heroism award for aiding in the rescue of a woman from her burning car on September 26, 2008.
A celebration of life service for Ron will be conducted at 5:00 PM Friday, July 03, 2015 at Myers-Reed Chapel with Virgil Clotfelter officiating.
Military Rites will be presented by the Bartholomew County Veterans Color Guard.
Calling hours will be from 3:00 PM until the time of service on Friday.
Cremation is entrusted to The Columbus Crematory.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial contributions to the American Cancer Society.

Mr. Bean is survived by his father, Donald R. Bean of Grammer, IN.; three brothers, David (Rena) Bean of Scipio, IN., Dwayne (Melissa) Bean of Grammer, IN. and Douglas (Melissa) Bean of Columbus, IN.; two sisters, Donetta (Richard) Mead of Columbus, IN. and Pamela Podoseh of Oakland City, IN.; a sister-in-law, Carol Cutsinger of Columbus, IN.; a daughter, Denise Farrar of Huffman, TX; two grandchildren, Matthew Benefield and Michelle Farrar both of Huffman, TX. and several nieces and nephews.
Ron was preceded in death by his mother, Diana D. Cutsinger Bean on November 13, 1999 and his brother, Roger Dale Cutsinger.
