Ruth Ann Clouse, 82, of Sherwood Lane, died 3:20 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 18, 2010, at the Good Sam a r i ta n Hospital in Cincinnati, Ohio.

Mrs. Clouse was born in M i tc h e l l , August 26, 1927, the daughter of Avril and Esther Bareford Dalton.

She graduated in 1945 from Mitchell High School and was married November 21, 1946, to Donald R. Clouse.

Mrs. Clouse worked for Public Service Indiana for many years. Later, she worked for South Central Company and Cummins Engine Company where she retired in 1985. She was a member of over 60 years to the East Columbus Christian Church and Tri Kappa Sorority. She enjoyed traveling, sewing, and needle work.

Mrs. Clouse is survived by a son, Eric D. (Ginny) Clouse of Greenwood; daughters, Nancy L. (Steve) Mix of Pleasant Prairie, Wis., and Amy (Kurt) Knochel of Cincinnati, Ohio; grandchildren, Rebecca (Cameron) Heasley of Indianapolis, Brent and Leslie Clouse of Greenwood, Connor Mix of Pleasant Prairie, Wis., Matthew and Benjamin Knochel of Cincinnati, Ohio; and a niece, Janet (Charles) Noe of Mitchell.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Donald R. Clouse on July 31, 1998; an infant son, Brent Duane Clouse; and a sister, Doris L. Percifield on December 1, 2009.

The funeral service will be held at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at Myers-Reed Chapel with Ron Bridgewater officiating. Calling hours will be 4 to 8 p.m. Monday and 9:30 a.m. until service time Tuesday. Burial will be at Garland Brook Cemetery.
