Skyler Joseph Green

Skyler Joseph Green, infant son of Dawn Renee Martin Roberts and Michael Scott Green of Taylorsville, died at 10:05 a.m. Friday, April 13, 2012, at Peyton Manning Children's Hospital at St. Vincent in Indianapolis.

He was born March 1, 2012, at St. Vincent Women's Hospital in Indianapolis.

Funeral services will be conducted at 1:30 p.m. Monday at Myers-Reed Chapel on 25th Street with Pastor Jim Weld officiating. Calling will be from 3 to 6 p.m. today and one hour prior to the service on Monday. Burial will be at Garland Brook Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made through the funeral home to the Now I Lay Me Down to Sleep Foundation.

Skyler is survived by his parents; brothers, Michael A. and Mason N. Green of Columbus; grandparents, Danny L. (Juanita) Green of Elizabethtown, Phyllis D. Garrett of Columbus and Sylvia (Clifton) Osborne of Taylorsville; uncles, Daniel (Sara) Green and Bobby Ray Martin of Columbus; stepaunts and uncles, Rodger (Dawn) Bunch of Taylorsville and Monica (Dustin) Schomer of Hope; cousins, Kaliegh and Madison Green of Columbus; and stepcousins.

He was preceded in death by a grandfather, Barry Joseph Martin, in September of 1999.
