Adrienne LaMonte Dacons, age 85, of Columbus, Ohio, passed away on Friday, January 28, 2022. She was born in Columbus, Ohio on January 25, 1937. She was a graduate of East High School. Adrienne was a 40+ year member of Friendship Missionary Baptist Church and retired from the State of Ohio Department of Youth Services after many years of dedicated service. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Lynda Bland Bixby; father, Joseph Carl Dacons; mother, Vivian Aleise Mendenhall; and brothers, Patrick and Marc Mendenhall. She is survived by her children, Sharon Bland, Susan Bland, James (Desiree) Bland, and Clifford White; grandchildren, Ryan, Ericka, Aaron, Tony, Shawn, Naomi, and Asa; brother, Michael Mendenhall; and a host of great grandchildren, great great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and cousins. Family will receive friends on Saturday, February 19, 2022 from 10:00AM-11:00AM followed by a memorial service at 11:00AM at Friendship Missionary Baptist Church, 1775 West Broad St., Columbus, Ohio 43223.
