Al J. Pfeifer

Al J. Pfeifer, age 85, died in his home on March 8, 2011. He is preceded in death by Edna M. Pfeifer in 1992. He was the husband of Sandra; father of Beverly (Bob) Cameron, David (Christine) and Don (Kathleen); stepfather of Susan Noureldin and Cheryl (Mike) Abshire; granddad of Ryan (Leigh) Cameron, David, Al (Allie) Pfeifer, Kelly (Shawn) Christy, Lauren and Dylan Pfeifer, Andrew and Allia Noureldin, Gabrielle and Kay Abshire; great granddad of Brendan and Darren Christy, Al Luke and Al J. Pfeifer and Naomi Noureldin. He was an active member of the 4th degree K of C, charter member of St. Anthony Catholic Church since 1966 and an oil and gas producer for over 50 years. He served in the Army in WWII. He was one of 17 children born to Peter and Rosa Pfeifer, a Kansas wheat farmer during the depression. He loved God, his family and his country. A Memorial Mass will take place on Saturday, March 12, 2011 at 12:30pm with family receiving friends one hour prior at St. Anthony Catholic Church, 1300 Urban Drive, Columbus, Ohio 43229, Father Tom Petry celebrant. Private family interment to take place at a later date at Resurrection Cemetery.
