Alice D. Thomas

Alice Anderson Dodge Thomas, age 83, of Columbus, Ohio passed away February 14, 2011. She was preceded in death by her parents, Clara Roloson Dodge & John Warren Dodge; her brother John W. Dodge, and her sister Nancy Dodge Gibbs. Alice will be missed by her loving husband, Oscar Lyon Thomas, Jr. “Tommy”; daughter, Patricia Thomas Fletcher (Frederick Fletcher), San Antonio, Texas; son, Oscar Lyon Thomas, III “Chip” (Erin Thomas), Westerville, Ohio; sister, Sally Dodge Reese (William Reese), Rochester, Minnesota; sisters-in-law, Elaine Thomas Barnum, Columbus, Ohio and Mary Louise Dodge, Prescott, AZ; grandchildren, Brian Thomas Kirkpatrick (Katie Kirkpatrick), Austin, Texas, Alice Marie Kershaw (Geoff Kershaw), Parker, Colorado, Heath Lyon Thomas, Westerville, Ohio and Luke Lee Thomas, Westerville, Ohio; great-grandchildren, Jackson Thomas Kershaw, Parker, Colorado and Jasper Thomas Kirkpatrick, Austin, Texas. Alice graduated from The Andrews School for Girls, Willoughby, Ohio, and attended The Ohio State University. She worked for Mortar Board National Office. Alice was a 50-year founding member of Chapter DE, PEO and Past President Northside Junior Women’s Club. Celebrate Alice’s life with her family from 2pm, Sunday, February 20th, 2011 until the time of the Memorial Service at 3pm at SCHOEDINGER NORTHWEST CHAPEL,1740 Zollinger Rd., Columbus, Ohio.
