Alice Tinsley

Alice Tinsley passed away on November 23, 2017. She was born in Hamden, Ohio on August 22, 1931 to the late Kathryn and Glendyn Bagley. She was preceded in death by her husband, R.L. Tinsley; and sister, Jean Hall. She is survived by her life riches: daughter, Kathryn (Chris) Hoover; son, Robert (Melinda) Gerty; dear cousin, Sue Shields; grandchildren, Brandon Dillinger, Tiffany (Shaun) Bastian, Donovan (Jenny) Gerty, Samantha (Alex) Chorba; great-grandchildren, Tyler Bastian, Bayley and Riley Dillinger, Taban Chorba and Daphne Gerty. Retired after 39 years from Columbus Fair Auto Auction. Member of the Order of Eastern Star in McArthur, Ohio and the Church of the Good Shepherd United Methodist Church. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to The Church of the Good Shepherd, United Methodist Church, 6176 Sharon Woods Blvd., Columbus OH 43229, or National Church Residences, 681 E. 3rd Street, Waverly, OH 45690. Friends and family may call Wednesday November 29, 2017 from 12pm-1pm at The Church of the Good Shepherd, 6176 Sharon Woods Blvd, Columbus OH. A funeral service will directly follow at 1pm with Pastor Don Wallick officiating. Interment at Union Cemetery.
