She was such a precious lady she was one of a kind that’s for sure! She made mine and Tim’s wedding cake for our Wedding Gift, she was so upset over the color of it she said it looked blue instead of purple, then she had forgotten the fountain at home me and Tim didn’t think anything of it but she wasn’t having it. Craig had worked night shift and drove straight in for the wedding so here went Craig and Aunt Jean back to Ohio just for that fountain and I’ll never forget what she said I just had to do it right for my Timmy. You will be greatly missed give my  Tim and Maw Letta a Great Big Hug for me.

Aunt Jean and Uncle Jr. was very kind to Craig and I.  They lent us their home for our honeymoon.  They helped us buy our first truck when we moved to Ohio. They helped with the down payment to buy our house.  My heart goes out to the family and friends of this precious lady.

Memorial Day will never be the same :cry:

Sure going to miss this little lady.. she always made me feel special an I loved her more than she will ever know... she had a heart as big as the world.. you will be surely missed

So sorry to hear of your grandmother's passing.  The memories you have of her will bring smiles to your faces I am sure as the days go by.  May Alice Rest In Peace.

Aunt Jean was a special lady. Doll cakes for my birthday even as I grew older.  She tried hard to never forget birthdays for all her family.  Aunt Jean loved when even after 20 years, she was recognized by the kids from Michael’s school and “Snack Attack”.  She loved being a mother to her family and friends who had lost their own mother.  She loved doctors and nurses telling her she looked way younger than her real age.  She loved daily phone calls from loved ones.  She loved all of us and she will be greatly missed.

Fill not your heart with pain and sorrow,
but remember me in every tomorrow.
Remember the joy, the laughter, the smiles,
I've only gone to rest a little while.

Although my leaving causes pain and grief,
my going has eased my hurt and given me relief.

So dry your eyes and remember me
not as I am now, but as I use to be.

Because I will remember you all and look on with a smile,
Understand, in your hearts, I've only gone to rest a little while.
As long as I have the love of each of you,
I can live my life in the hearts of all of you.
