Alicerose Jane Sanders

Alicerose Jane (Liston) Sanders, age 73, passed away on Monday, November 8, 2010. She was born in Gahanna on February 23, 1937, to the late Wallace and Jessie Stuller, and she was a graduate of Gahanna Lincoln High School. Alicerose worked for Lucent Technologies, retiring after 30 years of service. She was warm and generous, always willing to do without to give to someone else. She enjoyed jewelry-making and other crafts, and she loved Christmas. But what brought her the most joy was spending time with her family. She is survived by her husband of 11 years, Harold Sanders; children, Lawrence Liston, Mark (Diana) Liston, and Brett (Brenda) Liston; siblings, Gerald, Kathryn, and Sherry; grandchildren, Shane, Jamie, Matthew, Jared, Tara, and Luke; great grandchildren, Charlotte, Aaron, Casey, Christian, and Liam; and many wonderful friends. She was preceded in death by her brothers, Bob, Bill, and Dick; and daughter, Charlotte Henry. Family will receive friends from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. on Thursday, November 11, 2010, at the SCHOEDINGER NORTHEAST CHAPEL, 1051 E. Johnstown Road, Gahanna. A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday at the funeral home with Pastor Tim Swanson officiating. Interment will follow at Mifflin Cemetery.
