Alwilta "Pat" Sherman

Alwilta “Pat” Sherman, age 96, passed away peacefully on Monday, September 9, 2013. Pat was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She loved to spend time with her family, enjoyed music and travelled extensively with her husband. She met her husband, the late David Sherman, in Ft. Wayne, IN and the two were married December 7, 1940. They moved to St. Clair Shores, MI and lived there for 42 years with their children before moving to Dublin, OH in 2001. Pat worked as a secretary at Lakeview high school for 16 years and after retirement, both Pat and David were instrumental in the creation of the Senior Center of St. Clair Shores. She was vivacious, personable, and fun loving. Pat is survived by her loving children, Thomas (Stephany) Sherman, Sylvia Plesco, and Robert (Cynthia) Sherman; 8 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren. A Memorial Service will be held privately for Pat’s family.
