Amber Rae Brown

She was born August 25, 1982 in Cocoa Beach, Florida. She was a 2001 graduate of Circleville High School and attended Shawnee State University where she studied Fine Arts.

Amber was preceded in death by maternal grandparents, Joseph and Imogene Schmidt and paternal grandfather, George Brown.

She is survived by her parents, Mary Ann and Jim Mogan of Valencia and Jamie Brown of Circleville; siblings, Lindsey Brown of Seal Beach, CA, Kayli and Payton Brown of Circleville and Jeff (Tabitha) Mogan of Anchorage, AK; grandparents, Lois Brown, Dorothy Heine and James Mogan; aunts and uncles, Linda Shirk, Bob (Doris) Schmidt, Joe (Mindy) Schmidt, Kirk (Merry) Brown, Terry Brown, Paula Cooper, Dave (Carolyn) Mogan, Gary (Kathleen) Mogan and Bill (Susan) Mogan; niece, McKinnley Rae Mogan; and many beloved cousins and friends.

Amber will be remembered for her many gifts and her great sense of humor, but most of all for her huge heart, her gentle and kind spirit and her deep love for her family and friends. She loved all animals, but especially her loyal companion dog, Homer, whom she adored.

A Celebration of Life will be held at 3:00 P.M. Friday, April 24, 2015 at Defenbaugh-Wise-Schoedinger Funeral Home, 151 E. Main St., Circleville, with Rev. Philip Huston officiating. Friends may call from 2:00 P.M. until the time of the service on Friday at the funeral home.
