Amy Franklin, age 36, of Galloway, Ohio, passed away unexpectedly on February 7, 2015. In 1996 Amy graduated from Westland High School, where she participated in Color Guard and Winter Guard. In 1999, she became a mother for the first time. She loved nothing more than her children. She was so proud of their remarkable intelligence and boundless energy. We will always remember her as a nurturer who was full of hope, warmth, kindness, and strength. She was a fighter who had an uncompromising love for life. We will remember that tenacity while never forgetting her vulnerabilities. In doing this, we honor and are inspired by her bravery and capacity for empathy. Visitation 5-8 p.m. Friday, February 13, 2015 at SCHOEDINGER HILLTOP CHAPEL, 3030 W.
