Andy Russ

Andy worked as a meat cutter in Youngstown at Giant Eagle, Loblaws, and A & P Supermarkets. He was a member of St. Patrick’s Church. Andy and Rose moved to Columbus in the past 10 years to live closer to family. Andy was a devoted husband and father. He adored his grandchildren and was very proud of their many accomplishments throughout their lives. He enjoyed going to the casino and traveling, especially to Disneyland.

Andy will be missed by his wife of 59 years, Rose Marie Russ; daughter, Cynthia (John) Belak, Austintown, OH; son, Andy J. Russ, German Village; grandchildren, John Joseph (Maria) Belak and Kristan (Nick) Maglis; great-granddaughter, Fotini Rose Belak; and sister, Mary Ranalli, Boardman, OH.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 12 Noon Saturday, January 12, 2013 at St. Mary Catholic Church, 684 S. 3rd. St., Columbus, Fr. Donald Franks, Celebrating. Entombment Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens. Family will receive friends Friday, January 11, 2013 from 6-8 p.m. at SCHOEDINGER NORTHEAST CHAPEL, 1051 E. Johnstown Road, Gahanna.
