Ann Elizabeth Glass

Ann Elizabeth Glass, 74, of Erie Pennsylvania passed away peacefully April 11, 2018 at her son's home in Gahanna, Ohio after a brief illness. She was born January 29, 1944 in Sandusky, Ohio to the late Richard and Elizabeth (Sloat) Wennes. Ann was a graduate of Sandusky High School, class of '62 as well as Dyke College in Cleveland, Ohio. She was very proud to have worked for many years as a legal secretary, having received several awards in her field. Currently she was employed by Erie Insurance. Ann was often the life of the party. She was passionate about animals and loved visiting the Erie Zoo, although her favorite role in life was that of "grandma"! She is survived by her children, Donald (Bonnie) Glass II and Jennifer (Keith) Fisher, along with their father, Donald Glass; grandchildren, Emma Glass, Nicholas Fisher and Maximilian Glass; sister-in-law Karen Wennes; nieces and nephews, Rhett Wennes, Kerri (Jason) Wennes Ziegler, Nicole Long Timbers, Joe Long and Deena Long Evans; many special friends. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her beloved granddaughter Claire Glass, brother, Dick Wennes and nephew Rich Wennes. Graveside service will be held at 11:30am Tuesday, April 17, 2018 at Oakland Cemetery, 2917 Milan Rd. Sandusky, Ohio 44870; Fr. Ted Sill, presiding.
