Ann Henry

Ann Henry, age 88, of Gahanna, OH passed away on Friday, January 28, 2011 at St. Ann’s Hospital. She was born February 12, 1922 in Sedalia, MO, the only child of the late Robert and Lillie Burns. She was also preceded in death by her first husband, Elio “Leo” Zari, second husband, Louis Henry, and daughter-in-law, Pamela Henry. She is survived by her five sons, Richard (Annette), Rick (Christine), Randy, Mark and Scott (Karen). She was also the proud grandmother of Adam, Heather, Chantel, Joshua, Jacob, Jordan, Jennifer, Melissa and Rachael and numerous great-grandchildren. Ann was a member of the Eastern Star Triangle Chapter #592 and an avid bowler. By combining her traits as a hard working woman and an authentic “people person”, Ann found her niche in life as a bartender at the Crest Tavern, a down to earth Clintonville neighborhood gathering place. Family will receive friends 2-4 and 6-8pm (Eastern Star Service at 7:30pm) Wednesday, February 2, 2011 at Schoedinger Northeast Chapel, 1051 E. Johnstown Rd., Gahanna, OH 43230 where services will be held at 12noon on Thursday; interment Mifflin Twp. Cemetery.
