

Ann Kesselring, loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, age 94, passed away Friday, January 15, 2021 at Wesley Ridge Retirement Community. She was born in Evansville, IN on September 24, 1926 to the late Fred and Anna (Buening) Freese. Ann graduated from Purdue University with a Bachelor Degree in Home Economics and was later certified in Special Education. She taught in many school districts and substituted in Pickerington High Schools. Ann loved people, and people loved Ann. She was a volunteer at Blacklick Woods Metro Park Nature Center, The American Red Cross, and the Lutheran Women's Missionary League. Ann was a very active member of Bethany Lutheran Church. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Boyd Kesselring. She is survived by her children, Michael (Bruce) Bestwick, Rock (Cynthia) Kesselring, Ellen (Larry) Porche, Richard (Gail) Thompson, Kathryn (Jim) Reed, Scott (Angie) Thompson, Barbara (David) Graham, and Robert (Tami) Thompson; many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Family will receive friends 1pm-2pm Tuesday, January 19, 2021 at Schoedinger East, 5360 E. Livingston Ave., where the funeral service will begin at 2pm.
