Ann Hymrod Vick, 97, of Dublin, passed away on September 22, 2019. She was born in Columbus on April 24, 1922 to George and Doretta (Horcher) Hymrod. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Vernon, her sister Claire, and her brother George.
She graduated from South High School in Columbus, received an undergraduate degree from Ohio State and a Masters degree from Bowling Green State University.
She taught school in Bowling Green, and Springfield Ohio and was in charge of the Gifted Student program in Mechanicsburg Ohio.
She was a writer of numerous poems as well as two published books, she enjoyed weaving and won awards with her work. She enjoyed her dogs and found happiness and peace in their company.
Ann will be greatly missed by her sons Vernon "Joe" and Tim Vick.
No public services will be held at this time.
