Anna Mary (Anne) Brady nee Sughrue (87) was born on March 15, 1931 and passed away peacefully on June 12, 2018. Anne was born in Cambridge, Massachusetts in 1931, youngest of 3 siblings, where she participated in Glee Club, earned highest honors in school, and was Valedictorian of Western Junior High School Class of 1946. Anne married Mark Brady in 1956 and they settled in Columbus, Ohio in 1970, where they raised their four children.
Anne's great loves in life were laughter, singing, dancing, and old and new friends ("people who are fun!"). She spent beautifully the 2nd to last chapter of life after raising four children greatly enjoying life as a working woman for 2 decades in the Billing Department of Vorys, Sater, Seymour and Pease, where she made treasured friends, claiming that work was "good for my spirit and my health." It was a joy for her family to see their shy mother blossom out in the world.
Anne is fondly remembered for her feistiness, loyalty, honor, honesty, and great humor - always ready to laugh and create hilarious conversation with willing participants. She always had a "Klondike Bah" and a hug when you needed both.
Preceded by husband Mark Brady, son Sean Brady, parents Bob and Ellen (Kilty) Sughrue, sister Helen (Sughrue) Arnberg and brother Robert Sughrue. Left to cherish her memory are her children, Pam Brady Norman, Kent (Julie) Brady, and Joy Brady Beer as well as grandchildren, Rhianon, Casey, Rob, Nick, and Savannah; as well as her brother-in-law and sister-in-law Brian Brady and Carol (Brady) Granato; and numerous beloved nieces and nephews.
Arrangements were entrusted to SCHOEDINGER NORTHEAST CHAPEL 1051 E. Johnstown Road, Gahanna, OH 43230 where a visitation will be held on June 16, 2018 from 9-10am followed by a Celebration of Life Service.
