Anna Bernadine Hathaway, 86, of Columbus, died Friday, December 31, 2010 at home. She was born July 19, 1924 in Ocala, FL to the late George A. and Helen Dresher. She was a graduate of Holy Trinity High School in Ocala, received a Bachelor of Medicine from Ohio University, Athens and her Nursing Degree in 1945 from Mt. Carmel West. She was Head Nurse at St. Ann’s on Briden Rd and retired from the State of Ohio Nursing Division in 1991. She loved gardening, especially roses. She is preceded in death by brother George E. Dresher. She is survived by children Chuck (Anne), Dave (Lee Ann) and Anna Marie (Jerry) White, two grandchildren, five great grandchildren, cats Harriett (Cee Cee) and Creepy. Family will receive friends Friday from 6-8 PM at SCHOEDINGER HILLTOP CHAPEL, 3030 W. Broad St. where a prayer service will be held at 7:30 PM.
