Anna Mae Jones

Anna Mae was born on May 4, 1928 in Chicago, Il to the late Louis and Besse (Luthern) Bobrosky. She was also preceded in death by her husband of 54 years, Robert B. Jones and a sister, Bette Brzezinski. Anna Mae was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She was a member of St. Andrew Parish since 1960. Anna Mae is survived by her children, Pam (Carl) Mulberry of Upper Arlington, Barbara (Michael) Gunner of Upper Arlington, Scott Jones of Cary, NC and Rob (Terri) Jones of Hilliard; grandchildren, Erin (Keith) Laymon, Lora (Jeff) Eader, Michelle Kasulis, Jason (Heather Binns) Jones, Andrew Jones, Nicholas Jones; great-grandchildren, Casey and Riley Laymon, Maya, Anna and Ewan Kasulis, Bennett and Davis Lester and Clara and Marcus Jones.

Anna Mae and Bob founded Columbus Medical Equipment Co. in 1975 where she was the treasurer and spent many years handling the accounts payable and payroll. Anna Mae was a pioneer member of ALSAC/St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital that began in Columbus in 1970. She was also a supporter of St. Andrew Church and the Maryknoll Fathers. She was an avid bridge player and spent many nights at Northam Park watching her children and grandchildren play sports.

A Memorial Mass will be held at 11 am on Saturday, June 21, 2014 at St. Andrew Parish, 1899 McCoy Rd., Columbus, OH 43220.
