Anna Rychnavsky Kavicky, 93 of Columbus, Ohio formerly of Teaneck, New Jersey, passed away peacefully February 2, 2016 surrounded by her family. Anna was born August 22, 1922 in Bratislava, Czechoslovakia to John and Elizabeth Rychnavsky. She came with her family to the United States in 1932 and became an American Citizen. She grew up in New York City and lived there until her marriage to Paul Kavicky in 1942 and the birth of their son Roy. The family later settled in Teaneck, New Jersey where she lived for the next 50yrs and managed the Butterflake Bakery. After retirement Anna moved to Columbus, Ohio to be with her family. Besides her parents and husband, Anna is preceded in death by brother, John; and sister, Mary Marecnik. She is survived by her son, Roy (Bonnie) Kavicky; grandsons, Paul (Tammy) Kavicky and Craig (Kelly) Kavicky; great grandchildren, Cooper and Grace.
