Anna Lou Lucas

Anna L. Lucas, age 75, went to be with the Lord on Monday, February 17, 2014 at Monterey Care Center with her husband by her side. Anna was born on February 14, 1939 in Lucasville, Ohio to the late Arnold and Opal (Childers) Dodridge. Anna is one of thirteen children. She graduated from Valley High School and attended college classes for nursing. She retired from Mt. Carmel as a Nursing Assistant. Anna loved collecting dolls, crocheting, reading and had a beautiful singing voice. She will be missed by her husband of 56 years, Donald L. Lucas; children, Arthur "Paul" (Raelynn) Lucas, Pamela (Monte) Stelzer, and Steven (Melissa) Lucas; grandchildren, Angela, Abbie, Emily, Sarah, Celia, Steven, Nathan, and Tammy; numerous great grandchildren; siblings, Gerald (Sharon), David (Terri), Nancy (Tim) Bost, Bob, Randy (Sherry), John , Jim (Rowena), Eva (Stanley) Robbins, Debbie (Malcolm) Schoener, Linda (Kelly) Agin and Lois McElwee. Preceded in death by brother Don Dodridge.

Friends may call Friday, February 21, 2014 from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm at the SCHOEDINGER GROVE CITY CHAPEL 3920 Broadway Grove City where the funeral service will be held 1:00 pm.
