

Anthony J. Luzio, Jr. "Buddy", beloved son and brother of Tony, Carla and Erika, passed away as a result of an auto accident occurring July 4, 2005 at the age of 25. Tony graduated from Olentangy High School, Class of 1998. Following High School, Tony went on to attend The Ohio State University and Franklin University. Prior to his accident, he had been working with The Limited Brands in their security department. Tony was a young man who was full of life. He was a loyal friend to many, had a great sense of humor, and was family oriented. He was an avid reader, gifted writer and artist, and enjoyed playing blackjack and cards with friends. Most of all, Tony was happiest traveling to Florida with his family. He enjoyed going to the Cleveland Indians spring training camp in Florida with his father. He is preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Joseph and Dorothy Luzio, maternal grandparents, Ralph and Ilse Decker, great grandmother, Cleo McDonald, and dear friends, Jason Seaman and Kevin Clark. He is greatly missed by his loving family who never gave up hope. Tony and Carla Luzio, sister, Erika (Adam) Doyle; nephew, Treyson Doyle; uncle, Dieter (Anne) Decker; aunt, Lynn Decker; cousin, Kurt Decker; faithful companion, Lily; best friends, Steve Flowers and his wife Diane and their children, Sophia and Avery; and many other extended family members and dear friends. Mass of Christian Burial presided over by Reverend Kevin Kavanagh and Reverend Jeffrey Rimelspach will be held at 10 A.M. Monday, October 27, 2014 at St. Brigid of Kildare Catholic Church, 7179 Avery Rd. Family will receive friends from 2-6 P.M. Sunday at SCHOEDINGER WORTHINGTON CHAPEL, 6699 N. High St. The family wishes to thank countless people for their unwavering support, prayers, commitment and dedication in their efforts to bring closure. Additionally, Tony and Carla would like to extend gratitude to Father Raymond Lavelle and Dennis and Tammy Watters.
