Arlene Rose Carey

Arlene Rose Carey, age 74, of Galloway, passed away on Saturday, May 26, 2012. She was born to the late Walter and Almeda Starkey on February 6, 1938 in Jackson, OH. Arlene was a loving gentle soul. She enjoyed working for The Ohio State University as an administrator, where she met good friends. She loved spending time with her family, as well as her two beloved dogs, Bootsy and Pansy. Arlene was preceded in death by her husband, Ronald E. Carey; and her son, Russell Owen Carey. She is survived by her loving children, Brian (Beth) Carey, Leslie (Ron) Lowe and Andrew (Donna) Carey; grandchildren, Sara, Ryann, Alexandra, Keith, Stephanie, Veronica, Lauryn, and Robby; 5 great-grandchildren; family friend, Danny Pierson; and many extended family and friends. A Memorial Service honoring the life of Arlene Carey will be held at 7pm on Thursday, May 31, 2012 at SCHOEDINGER GROVE CITY CHAPEL 3920 Broadway, Grove City where family will receive friends from 5pm-7pm.
