Arlene Ann Chappelear, age 91, of Galloway, passed away peacefully on May 18, 2025 at Doctors West Hospital, surrounded by family and friends. She was born on May 18, 1934. She is preceded in death by her loving husband, Kenneth Chappelear; her son, Glenn; daughter, Karen Fisher; grandson, John Davis III; daughter-in-law, Pam; parents, Walter and Elizabeth Engel; sister, Dolores Newlon; and brothers, Charles and Paul Engel. She was a great wife, mother, and grandmother. She is survived by sons, Keith and Robert; grandsons, Keith Jr. (Amber) of Columbus and Tim (Jennifer) Davis of Urbana; granddaughter, Stephanie (Dave) Greathouse of Columbus; several great grandchildren, great-great grandchildren, cousins, nieces, nephews and friends. A graveside service to honor her life will be held at 11:00 am on Friday, May 23, 2025 at Alton Cemetery, Galloway, Ohio 43119.
