

Arnold Knipp, 90, of Grove City, passed away on November 2, 2017. He was born on October 5, 1927 to the late John and Virginia Knipp. He was employed by the Hercules Box Co and retired after 37 years of service. Arnold enjoyed his retirement doing woodworking, fixing lawn mowers and other odds and ends. He had a tremendous work ethic. Even in retirement, he would put in a full 8 hour day at whatever projects he was working on. Arnold was a faithful member of the Greater Columbus Freewill Baptist Church. He was a wonderful husband, father, and a true man of integrity. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by daughter Regina Henson; brothers Raymond Knipp and Elwood Knipp; sisters Faye Evans, and Lucille Parsons; sisters-in-law Vickie Heipley, Geraldine Meeker, and Daisy McQuain; brothers-in-law Thomas McQuain, Darrell Meeker, Herman Brickel, Pat Evans, and Ernest Parsons. Arnold is survived by his loving wife of nearly 67 years, Lucille Knipp; sons Steve (Kim) Knipp Orient, OH, Marty (Kathy) Knipp Grove City, OH, and Tim Knipp Columbus OH; daughters Debbie Mitchell Gahanna, OH, and Trena Grimsley Grove City, OH; grandchildren Rick Tenaglia, Christopher Tenaglia, Jeremy (Heather) Knipp, Kassie Knipp, Luke Knipp, Joe (Kristen) Henson, Erica (David) Stevens, Kyle Miller, Ashley (Travis) Copley, Betsy (Tim) Teale, Timothy Cotton, Gary A Cotton and Jeff (Robin) Hoy: and 31 great grandchildren; sisters-in-law Lecta Knipp, Doris Knipp, Yvonne (Geoff) Smith, and Linda Brickel; brothers-in-law Eugene (Nancy) Fraley, Robert (Oma) Fraley, and Bob Heipley. Visitation will be held 2-4 and 6-8 PM Monday at the Schoedinger Grove City Chapel 3920 Broadway where the funeral service will be held 11 AM Tuesday, November 7, 2017.
