

Born July 16,1928 in Brookside, Ohio to parents Henry C. and Jessie (Hall) Cilles. He graduated from Ohio State University with a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering and after a short stint at North American Rockwell, worked 32 years at Jeffrey/Dresser Industries,Inc. As an engineer, his work required extensive travel in both the US and Europe. He was awarded patent #4813749 in 1975.
He was an avid golfer, bridge player, and enjoyed wood working. After retiring in 1989, he and his wife Ruth travelled extensively in the US, Mexico, and Europe. Although health problems took their toll in recent years, his keen wit and sense of humor remained intact to nearly the end. His devotion to his family, his sense of humor, and above all his tenderness to his dying wife is what we will remember him for. We will miss him dearly.
Preceded in death by his wife, Ruth (Abel); parents, brother Henry, sister Irene (Ariema),son-in-law David Stone and grandson Jason Stone. Survived by sons Erick and Kurt, daughters Kristi and Vicki (Stone), and grandson Michael Stone.
A memorial service will be held on April 11 at Schoedinger Worthington Chapel ,6699 North High Street, Worthington ,OH 43085. Visiting hours from 6 to 8 pm.
