Arthur Orren Hall

Arthur O. Hall, age 94 of Columbus, passed away Sunday, February 17, 2019. Arthur was born and raised in Granville, Ohio, son of the late Lester and Ada Hall. Also preceded in death by his beloved wife, Imogene Hall and sister, Frances Jobe. Arthur graduated from Granville High School, Class of 1942, and attended The Ohio State University. Arthur worked for Curtiss-Wright Corp. and R.S. Fry and Associates Accounting before branching out on his own, opening Arthur O. Hall Public Accountant. Arthur worked as a CPA for more than 40 years. He was a past president of the Public Accountants Society of Ohio and the Hilltop Lions Club and a member of Parkview, Trinity, and Indian Run United Methodist Churches, and Luther B. Turner Masonic Lodge. Arthur was a charming gentleman who could sometimes have an ornery personality. He enjoyed eating, playing cards, golfing, bowling, bingo and was an OSU football and basketball fan. He will be greatly missed by his children, Diane Bassett, David (Lori Cordial-Hall), and Daniel (Erin Brennan-Hall); grandchildren, Tiffany (Tristan) Haas, Melissa Bassett, Kristin (John) Martin, and Collin (Whitney) Hall; 5 great grandchildren; brother, Herbert (Rose Mary) and Frank (Jodi) Hall; beloved friend, Virginia Balk; and many other extended family members and dear friends.

Visitation will be held on Sunday, February 24, 2019 from 4-7 P.M. at SCHOEDINGER NORTHWEST CHAPEL, 1740 Zollinger Rd., where a Funeral Service will also be held on Monday, February 25, 2019 at 1 P.M.
