B. June (Alexander) Davis

June Alexander Davis passed away May 8, 2023, at the age of 96. She was born June 6, 1926, in Vinton, Ohio to the late Clyde and Nita (Quickle) Alexander. Also preceding in death was her husband Thomas M. Davis, Sr.; grandson Tommy Davis; and sister Dorothy Ciancetta. She was a 1944 graduate of Vinton High School and went on to earn her bachelor’s degree in music from The Ohio State University in 1948. She was a former member of Twig 98 of Children’s Hospital and part of the Tempo Unit of the Columbus Symphony Orchestra. She was a member of Covenant Presbyterian Church, where she formerly served as deacon and choir member. She was an amazing athlete that loved tennis and was a member of a Northam Park tennis team for many years. June loved hiking, gardening and was an artist that especially loved sculpting. June is survived by her son Tom (Marilyn) Davis, Jr.; granddaughter Alexa Davis; and a host of cousins, nephews, nieces, and friends.
